Sunday Sessions with GLAMOUR

Wardrobe Reset

Make a plan to cull your closet & cleanse your aura

There is something about having a good de clutter that is calming for the soul. When was the last time you had a good rummage through everything you own?

It’s time to ask yourself a few important questions – am I getting maximum value out of this piece? Does it have a multi occasion purpose? Is this a waiting till I “fit it again” piece and that time has never come? Or perhaps it's an item you bought "on sale" and you've never actually found the right time to pull it out?

Whatever the case may be, make those difficult decisions asking yourself the key question - do I actually wear this as much as I should? Once you figure this out, it will help you to decide what to keep and move on to a new owner potentially. It will help you to make better purchasing choices in the future and, it may even save you money in the long run!

So if you haven’t already, block out a day to work on re-homing pieces that are no longer needed. And, once lockdown is over, here’s what you can do with them.

Cook to Calm

try our 3 ingredient chocolate chip cookies

I don’t know about you, but pre lockdown cooking was all about feeding the fam, and trying to do it all at lightning speed. And doing it in fast fashion meant that I could move on to tick of the next thing on my never ending list. Now that we have more forced time on our hands, I’m enjoying the go-slow and spending a bit more time in the kitchen.

In the spirit of trying to keep somewhat healthy when meals become more of an event at home, these are a more wholesome alternative to the traditional high sugar cookie. Super yum and super easy to make, enjoy!

Easiest Recipe Ever

Pre heat oven to 180 degrees. Mash 2 medium sized bananas, and stir in 2 cups oats until you are left with a sticky cookie like dough. Add 1/2 cup good quality chocolate chips and roll into cookie shaped mounds. Cook for 12-15 minutes until slightly browned. Enjoy with a nice, hot cuppa!
