GLAMOUR Turns 7!
September saw Glamour’s annual event - our birthday! To celebrate, we hosted a fab night in store, inviting our guests to ‘Treat Themselves’ with some cute activations.
Guests sipped on bubbly from Freixenet and amazing cocktails from Sero NZ. We were lucky enough to enjoy delicious flavoured milk from Lewis Road Creamery, as well as their newly launched decadent liqueurs. To graze on, there was a range of sushi from Newmarket’s own &Sushi as well as a truly amazing cake from the talented Sweet Cheeks NZ.
As always our guests left with a beautiful gift bag, filled with top brands and new products to try. This included a luxe Lemon & Beaker serum, travel-sized Weleda products from their latest range and a manicure voucher from Art of Nails, to name a few.
In between shopping, guests enjoyed a range of treatments including Face Fits from the Dermalogica team and were given Clear Start goodies to go home with, mini manicures by The Art of Nails who have recently opened in Newmarket as well as a GLAM by Manicare lash station to complete their look.
Our owner, Charone said of the night and of being in business for 7 years “It’s not always easy when you own your own business and as the old saying goes “if it was, everyone would be doing it”. What I’ve learned along the way is you must surround yourself with the best people who know waaaaaay more than you do and share the same excitement and “Yas!” moments when you slay at work. So a big, enormous thanks to them, and also our lovely clients & friends who support and love Glamour as much as we do,”
